i. Biography
Sharon Sue-Hang-Baksh is Master Blender at Demerara Distillers Limited in Guyana, the producer of El Dorado rum, and a member of the company's board with responsibility for technical services. An analytical chemist, she joined DDL as a management trainee after graduating from the University of Guyana with a bachelor's degree in chemistry and a minor in biology, and rose through quality assurance and technical roles. She is one of three women on DDL's ten-member board.
