Stefan Stiller is a German chef based in Shanghai who launched Taian Table in April 2016 after earlier opening Stiller’s Restaurant and Cooking School in 2008 and EAST Eatery in 2015. Taian Table in Shanghai has been recognized with three Michelin stars, and Stiller also opened Taian Table Guangzhou in 2021; a separate, more casual Stiller concept operates in Guangzhou. His official team bio says Taian Table was the culmination of his long-term vision for an intimate, food-focused dining destination.
