i. Biography
Hotel-management training gives bar work a useful discipline: timing, room-reading, composure, and service that stays consistent under pressure. At Les Roches International School of Hotel Management, Symphony Loo built that foundation before applying it in drinks work shaped by the Campari network, where brand representation depends on trade education, bartender contact, and the ability to move ideas between markets without flattening local practice. Regional drinks advocacy works best when the bar remains the reference point. Loo’s work across APAC sits between brand, craft, and community: how a concept becomes a briefing, how a briefing becomes service, and how bartender knowledge travels from one team and market to another.
The Path
Hospitality training at Les Roches International School of Hotel Management and BCB Singapore 2025 provided the service architecture for Loo’s bar-facing work: precision, welcome, and composure under pressure. Those habits matter in drinks because the exchange is technical and social at once; the guest reads the room before the glass arrives. Ambassadorial work at Campari put that training into a trade setting. As Campari Ambassador at Campari, Loo worked in the zone where brand language has to meet bartender practice: education, advocacy, taste, technique, and the shared vocabulary that lets teams carry a drink idea from conversation to service.
The Work Today
Activation work depends on coordination more than spectacle. On one activation, Loo wrote, "Honored to lead these Campari Activation again, with talented team!" The phrasing points to the practical structure behind the event: a lead, a team, preparation, and the trust required to deliver consistently in front of trade and guests. Trade initiatives across APAC require local translation without losing the central idea. In another note about Tailored to the Bartender, Loo wrote, "Proud to share the journey of Tailored to the Bartender An initiative created for Asia’s 50 Best Bars winners 2025, and a project I had the privilege to lead across multiple markets in APAC, with our local Camparista teams." The program is framed around bartenders rather than generic brand reach, with local Camparista teams carrying the work across multiple markets.
In Their Words “Proud to share the journey of Tailored to the Bartender An initiative created for Asia’s 50 Best Bars winners 2025, and a project I had the privilege to lead across multiple markets in APAC, with our local Camparista teams.” “From concept to execution, the intention was always to honor individuality, craftsmanship, and the people behind the bars who shape our industry.”
Acclaim
Bar recognition is most useful when it describes what was in the glass. At Pahit in Kuala Lumpur, Loo’s guest-shift drinks were described as strong, powerful, punchy, spirit-forward, and delicious. That language names structure and delivery: a drink built around force, clarity, and immediate flavor. The stated method behind Tailored to the Bartender keeps the trade audience in view: "From concept to execution, the intention was always to honor individuality, craftsmanship, and the people behind the bars who shape our industry." In practice, that places the bartender before the program and the guest before the message, with advocacy moving through teams and returning through service.
