Tiago Sabarigo

Tiago Sabarigo is a Portuguese chef from Évora who worked in hospitality before moving into high-end restaurants in London and Budapest. He served as chef at Costes Downtown in Budapest, where the restaurant retained its Michelin star during his tenure, and later co-founded Essência Restaurant in Budapest with his wife, Éva Jenei; Essência received a Michelin star in 2021. He is identified in official and trade coverage as chef and owner of Essência.
