i. Biography
Yang Lu MS is a Chinese sommelier and wine educator best known as the world’s first Chinese Master Sommelier and as Corporate/Group Director of Wine for Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. He passed the Master Sommelier exam in 2017, after previously building his career in hospitality wine programs, including work at Peninsula Shanghai. He has also founded Grapea & Co. Wine Academy and TOP|SOMM Studio, extending his influence in wine education and consulting in Greater China.
