Adam Wadewitz is Chief Winemaker and co-CEO at Shaw + Smith, where he leads winemaking for the Adelaide Hills winery and its single-vineyard wines. He is also the founder/chief winemaker at MMAD Vineyard in Blewitt Springs, McLaren Vale, and is involved with Tolpuddle Vineyard in Tasmania through the Shaw + Smith group. He was named WINE magazine Winemaker of the Year in 2022 and has been associated with prior winemaking roles at Seppelt and Best’s Great Western.
