i. Biography
Aidan Low is the chef-owner of Akar Dining in TTDI, Kuala Lumpur, where he has led the restaurant since opening it in 2020. He is drawing on training and work in France and Japan while building a modern Malaysian tasting-menu restaurant centered on local ingredients. Akar was recognized in Tatler Dining Malaysia’s Top 20 Restaurants in 2023, and later received its first MICHELIN Star in the Kuala Lumpur and Penang guide.
