i. Biography
Alex Meyer is a Miami chef and co-owner of Boia De and Walrus Rodeo. He and Luciana Giangrandi launched the taco truck La Pollita in Miami’s Design District before opening Boia De in Little Haiti in 2019; Boia De later earned a Michelin star, and Walrus Rodeo opened nearby in December 2022 as a wood-fired concept. Meyer is also associated with Walrus Rodeo’s Italian-leaning, playful menu and with the restaurants’ critical acclaim in Miami’s dining scene.
