Alex Raij is a New York chef and restaurateur who, with her husband Eder Montero, co-owns and operates Txikito, La Vara, Saint Julivert Fisherie, and El Quinto Pino. Txikito is described by the restaurant as a Basque restaurant in Chelsea, while La Vara is a Brooklyn restaurant exploring the Jewish and Moorish influences in Spanish cuisine. She has been a multiple-time James Beard semifinalist, including Outstanding Chef in 2022 and 2023.
