Alison Roman is an American cook, writer, and author based in New York, known for cookbooks including Dining In, Nothing Fancy, and Sweet Enough, and for her widely shared recipes such as #TheStew and #TheCookies. She previously held editorial roles at Bon Appétit and BuzzFeed Food and later wrote for The New York Times Cooking. In 2023, she opened First Bloom, a small grocery store in the Western Catskills.
