Andrés Torres is the chef and owner of Casa Nova in Sant Martí Sarroca, in the Penedès wine region of Barcelona, where the restaurant emphasizes sustainability and local products. He is a journalist and chef who created the restaurant after work in media and social projects across Latin America, Africa, and Asia, and the restaurant notes his leadership in its sustainable, garden-based model. He is also identified as president of the NGO Global Humanitaria, and external coverage reports that Casa Nova earned the Basque Culinary World Prize in 2024.
