i. Biography
The vineyards were home early on: fresh air, movement, and freedom, as Anette Closheim puts it. That kind of upbringing leaves a mark on technique as much as temperament. It builds familiarity with the ground level of the work, where landscape, labor, and timing sit close together. After studying wine business management, Closheim carried that practical orientation into trade and branding, moving from premium spirits toward wine and the more direct expression it allowed.
Coming Up
Product management in premium spirits gave Anette Closheim a working education in positioning, precision, and presentation. Marketing single malt whiskies and premium vodkas meant handling luxury cues with discipline, and those habits stayed with her when she shifted into wine. The result is a winemaker’s perspective shaped not only by cellar work, but by an understanding of how a bottle is read before it is opened. Today, Closheim works under her own name, and that commercial background still informs the clarity of the finished wine.
Where They Are Now
Sauvignon Blanc sits at the center of Anette Closheim’s current work, and the range is built with that focus in mind. 2025 Rosé 'Jubel & Trubel' dry, Cuvée Blanc 'Here & Now' dry, Calardis Blanc 'Rebolution' dry - PIWI, Pinot Blanc 'With Friends' dry, and Sauvignon Blanc 'savvy' dry all sit under the same contemporary register: concise names, clean presentation, and a style that aims for precision rather than excess. Closheim also treats packaging as part of the wine’s language. "Elegant, timeless bottles should reflect my high quality standards for the wine," she says, and that attention to form aligns the outside of the bottle with the wine inside. The work reads as deliberate from label to palate.
Signature
Anette's signature dishes include 2025 Rosé 'Jubel & Trubel' dry, Cuvée Blanc 'Here & Now' dry, Calardis Blanc 'Rebolution' dry - PIWI, Pinot Blanc 'With Friends' dry, and Sauvignon Blanc 'savvy' dry. Together, they sketch a portrait of a winemaker working with a clear, contemporary voice: bright, precise, and committed to a style that is cleanly expressed rather than overworked.
