Angelo Brocato Jr.

Angelo Brocato Jr. was a member of the family that operated Angelo Brocato’s Original Italian Ice Cream Parlor in New Orleans. The business was founded by his father, Angelo Brocato Sr. and the family’s own account says Angelo Jr. and his brother Joseph continued running it after their father’s death in 1946; later, Angelo Jr. brought the next generation into the business before the shop moved to North Carrollton Avenue in Mid-City. He died in 1982, and later accounts note that his sons Arthur and Angelo III carried the business forward.
