My name is Anna Polyviou. I'm a Pastry Chef, a TV host, and a fun DJ. Before beginning as an apprentice at The Sofitel Hotel in Melbourne, Australia, in 2000, Anna Polyviou built her career in pastry through a sequence of roles that led to Executive Pastry Chef at The Bathers Pavilion on Balmoral Beach in Sydney, Australia, and Executive Chef at Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney, Australia.
The Path
Anna Polyviou trained at Thames Valley University. Anna went on to work as apprentice at The Sofitel Melbourne Hotel in Melbourne (from 2000), Pastry Chef at The Claridges Hotel in London, and Executive Pastry Chef at The Bathers Pavilion in Balmoral Beach. Today, Anna is founder and chairman of Sydney Pastry Chef club and Executive Chef of Shangri-La Hotel.
