Anne-Marie Coustal

Anne-Marie Coustal is a co-owner and winemaker/vigneronne at Domaine Terres Georges in Castelnau-d'Aude, in the Minervois area of Languedoc, where she and Roland Coustal began making wine in 2001 after taking over her parents’ vineyard holdings. The estate was renamed Terres Georges in honor of her father Georges, and the couple work a small parcel-led estate, hand-harvesting and hand-sorting fruit with a minimal-intervention approach. Sources also describe her as having helped in the vineyard since childhood and as one of the people who left other careers to create the domaine.
