Anthony Mangieri

Anthony Mangieri is the chef-owner of Una Pizza Napoletana, the current and only expression of his decades-long pursuit of pizza on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. He opened the original Una Pizza Napoletana in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey, in 1996 and later reopened the restaurant in New York after earlier East Village and San Francisco iterations. He is widely described as a pioneer of Neapolitan-style pizza in the United States and remains directly responsible for making the dough and baking every pizza at the restaurant.
