Training at Oklahoma State University and Davis led Ashley Holland into the trade through off-premise sales at E & J Gallo Winery in Denver, Colorado, United States. That entry point gave her a broad read on the business before she moved into production. At Two Rivers in New Zealand, she worked as winemaker, shifting from sales into the practical demands of fermentation, blending, and harvest decisions. Today, Ashley is winemaker of Read Holland Wines.

Where They Are Now

At Read Holland Wines, Holland works as winemaker and co-founder, a role that puts her in both the production side and the direction of the label. At Brashley Vineyards in Philo, she serves as winemaker, continuing a style built around clarity and restraint. Across both positions, the aim is the same: wines that keep the site legible in the finished glass.

Signature

Ashley's signature wines include Hacienda Sequoia Pinot Noir, White Pinot Noir, Somerset Pinot Noir, Bevel Vineyard Pinot Noir, and Finger Lakes Dry Riesling. The set shows the range of her work: multiple readings of Pinot Noir, plus a Dry Riesling that brings a different register of precision and lift. Each named wine points back to a specific place or intention, which is where the shape of the work becomes clear.
