Axel Heinz is the winemaker and CEO of Château Lascombes in Margaux. After studying agronomy, viticulture and oenology in Bordeaux, he spent 17 years leading the winemaking and estate direction of Ornellaia and Masseto in Tuscany before returning to Bordeaux in 2023 to lead the renewal of Château Lascombes.
