Baroness Philippine de Rothschild

Baroness Philippine de Rothschild (1933–2014) was the owner, with her children, of Château Mouton Rothschild, Château d’Armailhac, and Château Clerc Milon in Pauillac, and she served as Chair of the Supervisory Board and majority shareholder of Baron Philippe de Rothschild SA. After beginning her career as an actress under the stage name Philippine Pascal and graduating from the Conservatoire National d’Art Dramatique in Paris, she took over the family estate after her father’s death in 1988 and modernized the company’s global wine business, including Mouton Cadet and Opus One.
