Barry Crockett began his career as an apprentice distiller at Old Midleton Distillery in Cork, Ireland, until 1981, absorbing the discipline and precision that would define his life in whiskey. He then rose to become Master Distiller of Jameson Irish Whiskey at Midleton Distillery in Cork, Ireland, serving from 1981–2013 and shaping the spirit's character over more than three decades.
