    Benito Gómez, a Catalan-born chef based in Ronda, Málaga, Andalusia, took over Tragabuches in 2014 and reimagined it as Tragatá, a relaxed dining spot that earned a Michelin recommendation. In 2018, he opened Bardal, his fine-dining restaurant, which received two Michelin stars and two Repsol Suns. His cuisine emphasizes authentic Andalusian ingredients from the local countryside, blending tradition with modern techniques in tasting menus like Menú Bardal and Gran Menú Bardal.
