i. Biography
Benoit Filliers is a sixth-generation member of the Belgian Filliers family who joined Filliers Distillery in late September 2023 as distillery director and production director. The company says he is the son of the late Jan Filliers and that he later became chief executive in October 2025, succeeding Marie Thiers. He is leading the Deinze-based distillery’s next phase while continuing its grain-to-glass spirits tradition.
