My wine-making philosophy is to create wines that are balanced, elegant, and terroir driven. The Path
Technical discipline enters early through study. Bernardino Sani trained at INSAM ENRA Montpellier University (2002), and that education set the framework for the way he would later work: methodical, exacting, and attentive to process. From 2003 at Col D'Orcia in Montalcino, the day-to-day demands of a Tuscan estate added another layer, grounding the technical side of the job in the realities of place. He then returned to Argiano in Italy as Commercial Director (2012–2015), a role that required him to work across both market expectations and the standards of fine wine.
