Brett Steigerwaldt is a head distiller associated with LYON RUM at Windon Distilling Company in St. Michaels, Maryland, and has also been identified as a special advisor for distillery operations at Oceans Forward in Dominica. He has been profiled as the company’s first real hire in 2016 and later as a key figure in expanding rum production, liqueurs, and fermentation research for the brand. He has also been credited with work connected to Rosalie Bay Distillery in Dominica and with publishing industry articles and podcast appearances on fermentation and distilling techniques.
