Brian Taft is the Head Distiller at The Shed Distillery of PJ Rigney in Drumshanbo, County Leitrim, Ireland. The distillery’s official story credits him and PJ Rigney with beginning distillation before the new building was completed, and product pages state that whiskey and gin there are distilled under his guidance. Irish Whiskey Magazine also reports that he oversees slow distillation and that the distillery has produced whiskey there since 2014.
