In Clanton’s own terms, the brand premise is direct: “We wanted our brand to be about transparency and showing people this is how it's done right.”

Where They Are Now

In Bryan, the role of founder and Distillery Manager places Clanton at the point where production and public-facing identity meet. The work is framed as continuity as much as change, with the legacy of Mr. Varisco kept in view while something new is built on top of it. “We wanted to build off the legacy that Mr. Varisco left here, to keep the history going and make something new.” Transparency is made literal in the building itself. At Hush & Whisper Distilling Co, the floor is cut so guests can see bourbon being made, turning process into something visible rather than implied. “We cut a hole in our floor so guests can see their bourbon being made. That's how committed we are to transparency.” It is a practical decision, but also a clear statement of method: the work is meant to be seen, understood, and measured by what it does in front of people.

Signature

Caleb's signature wines include single barrel whiskey. The phrase points to the precision and restraint in the work, where a single barrel becomes the unit through which detail and intent are carried.
