Carlo Ferrini is an Italian winemaker and consultant whose own estate, Podere Giodo in Montalcino, is dedicated to Sangiovese and named for his parents Giovanna and Donatello. Official and trade sources also place him as consultant winemaker for Tenuta San Leonardo from 1999 onward, and associate him with projects in Etna, Sicily through Alberelli di Giodo. He was born in Florence in 1954 and has built a career spanning more than 30 years across Italy, from Trentino to Sicily.
