Carlton McCoy, MS, is the CEO and Master Sommelier at Heitz Cellar in St. Helena, California, and the CEO of Lawrence Wine Estates, which includes Heitz Cellar and Stony Hill Vineyard. He became a Master Sommelier in 2013 at age 28 and joined The Little Nell in Aspen in 2011 before being promoted to Wine Director. He later became President and CEO of Heitz Cellar in December 2018 and was named managing partner of Lawrence Wine Estates in 2020.
