Reid Griggs is the winemaker for both Stony Hill Vineyard and Burgess Cellars in Napa Valley. Stony Hill describes him as a first-generation winemaker who joined in 2021/2023-era coverage and holds a Master’s in Viticulture and Enology from UC Davis, while Burgess says he joined Lawrence Wine Estates in 2023 after experience at Harlan Estate, MacDonald Vineyards, Dalla Valle, Ridge, and Domaine Pierre Gonon. He is associated with a classical, terroir-driven style that emphasizes grace, delicacy, precision, and honoring site expression.
