Carmen González is a Puerto Rican restaurateur and chef best known for opening Carmen the Restaurant in Miami in 2003 and Carmen at the Danforth in Portland, Maine. Her restaurant Carmen the Restaurant was recognized by Esquire as one of the best new restaurants in America, and it earned multiple Wine Spectator Award of Excellence honors and AAA Four Diamond awards.
