i. Biography
Cathryn Bell is a Welsh sommelier from Ammanford who became Head Sommelier at Grove of Narberth in Pembrokeshire in August 2023. Before returning to Wales, she built a hospitality career in Ireland at Ashford Castle, Chapter One in Dublin, and Aimsir in Celbridge, where she contributed to the restaurant reaching two Michelin stars and later launched her wine consultancy, Wine Rover. She was named Food and Wine.ie Sommelier of the Year in 2019, Business Post.ie Sommelier of the Year in 2020, and AA Sommelier of the Year 2026 while at Grove of Narberth.
