i. Biography
CH’NG Poh Tiong is a Singaporean wine journalist, publisher, consultant, and judge who has worked extensively on Bordeaux, Chinese wine, and Japan’s Koshu grape variety. He published The Wine Review in 1991 and the first Bordeaux guide in Chinese in 2000, and he has also authored six books on Chinese cuisine and wine pairing. He served as Asia Regional Chair for the Decanter World Wine Awards from its launch in 2004 until resigning in May 2025, and he has long consulted for FairPrice Finest in Singapore.
