i. Biography
Charles W. Medley is a seventh-generation Kentucky distiller associated with the Medley family bourbon business in Owensboro, Kentucky. He retired as master distiller at Medley Distilling Co./Charles Medley Distillery after a career that included apprenticeships at Brown-Forman and Old Fitzgerald distilleries and later leadership as plant manager and master distiller. He was inducted into the Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame in 2019.
