Cherie Spriggs

Cherie Spriggs is the Head Winemaker at Nyetimber, the English sparkling wine producer in West Sussex, where she has worked since February 2007 with her husband Brad Greatrix. Official Nyetimber materials say she and Greatrix assess each handpicked vineyard parcel individually and have been integral to building the estate’s reputation since joining. Spriggs was born in Canada and has been described in interviews as having trained in biochemistry, wine research in British Columbia, and winemaking at the University of Adelaide before moving to England.
