Chris Kajani serves as President and Winemaker there, and the role reads as an extension of Napa itself: a native of the region, she describes early contact with vineyard life, horse rides through neighbors’ blocks, and wine as part of the household landscape. After training at University of California, Davis, she moved into winemaking at Pahlmeyer in Bay Area from 2004, then continued at Saintsbury in Carneros until 2015. Since 2015, Chris has been winemaker and General Manager of Bouchaine Vineyards, where stewardship, site, and production are worked as one job rather than separate lanes.

Signature

Bouchaine Estate Chardonnay 2020, Bouchaine Estate Calera Clone Pinot Noir, Bouchaine Estate Riesling, Bouchaine Estate Mt.
