Where They Are Now

At Christian Dugon in Bofflens, Vaud, the work runs across both cultivation and sales. As winemaker and winegrower, Christian Dugon stays tied to the vines and the cellar; as cellar door sales, he also meets the people who taste the wines and ask after what is in the bottle. That combination keeps the craft grounded in daily vineyard decisions and in the language used to explain them.

Signature

Christian Dugon's signature dishes include Gamaret X Nebbiolo, Gamaret X Humagne, Symphonie, and Gamaret X. Taken together, they show a practice attentive to blending, texture, and the specific register of each expression, with Pinot Noir remaining central to the work that has come to define him.

In Their Words “We cultivate our vines by respecting natural balances and by seeking the combined expression of terroir and grape variety in order to make quality wines, developing rich and complex aromas.” That statement points to a method built on observation and restraint. The aim is not to force character into the wine, but to let site and variety contribute together, with the work in the vineyard and cellar shaping what can be carried through to the bottle. “I did all my training at Changins before inheriting my father's vines and taking over my uncle's farm.” The path here runs from training to succession, with Changins as the formal base and family land as the working context.
