i. Biography
Christine Keff is a Seattle-based chef-restaurateur known for Flying Fish, which she opened in Belltown in 1995 and later moved to South Lake Union in 2010. She was named the James Beard Foundation’s Best Regional Chef for the Northwest and was inducted into the Pacific Northwest Wild Salmon Hall of Fame for her sustainability-focused sourcing and use of wild-caught salmon. In later-career roles, she has also consulted on restaurant operations and served as executive chef for Seattle University’s dining program through Bon Appétit-managed service.
