i. Biography
Colin Asare-Appiah is a Ghana-born, London-raised hospitality and spirits professional based in New York, known for his work as a bartender, educator, and brand ambassador. He is currently Trade Director of Culture and Lifestyle at Bacardi and has also served as Senior Portfolio Ambassador and Advocacy Community Director there. He co-founded the London Academy of Bartending, co-created the AJABU Cocktail & Spirits Festival in South Africa, and won Tales of the Cocktail’s 2016 Best American Brand Ambassador award plus its 2024 Visionary Award.
