Daniel Baron is an American winemaker associated with Silver Oak Cellars and Twomey Cellars in Napa Valley. He became Silver Oak’s winemaker in 1994 and later served as Director of Winemaking for both Silver Oak and Twomey, with Twomey founded after he recognized the potential of Merlot at Soda Canyon Ranch. He studied viticulture and oenology at UC Davis and worked in Bordeaux at Château Pétrus before returning to California to help launch Dominus Estate in 1982.
