Daniel Vézina

Daniel Vézina is a Quebec-born chef who began working in kitchens at age 16 and became a chef in 1979. He co-founded Laurie Raphaël in Quebec City in 1991 with Suzanne Gagnon, later extending the restaurant to Montreal, and he remained associated with the Quebec restaurant while his son Raphaël Vézina succeeded him in the kitchen. He also hosted Quebec culinary programs including Les chefs! and At the di Stasio, and has been active as a cookbook author and culinary teacher.
