The path to Border X Brewing runs through a mix of formal education and corporate experience. David Favela trained at Chico State and University of California, San Diego before working as employee at Hewlett Packard. That sequence placed him inside a disciplined professional environment before he shifted into ownership, where founding Border X Brewing in 2014 became the clearest expression of his drive to build.

Today

At Border X Brewing, the work is organized around Mexican flavors and brewing traditions. David Favela has shaped the company around ingredients and ideas that point back to that lineage, giving the brewery a clear cultural frame.
