David Gelb trained at Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School and University of Southern California. David went on to work as director at Jiro Dreams of Sushi (from 2012). Today, David is creator of Chef's Table (since 2015).

Where They Are Now

The guiding idea is plain in his own words: "The term I’m using these days is passion, not perfection." That focus on intention carries through the work.
