i. Biography
David Wachter is the winemaker and Geschäftsführer of WachterWein in Deutsch Schützen, Burgenland, where the family winery works about 6–7 hectares of vineyards in the Eisenberg region and emphasizes Blaufränkisch, especially for its flagship wine Donum. He is a third-generation cellar master who brings the region’s character and each vintage’s individuality into the bottle.
