i. Biography
DeAille Tam is a Hong Kong-born, Canada-raised chef based in Shanghai who co-founded and serves as executive chef of Obscura, which opened in November 2020. She previously led Bo Shanghai, where she became the first female chef in Mainland China to earn a Michelin star in 2018, and she was named Asia’s Best Female Chef 2021 by Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants.
