i. Biography
Diogo Campilho is the Director of Enology at Aveleda, where he has led the group's winemaking since May 2022 across Vinho Verde, Douro, Bairrada, and the Algarve. A graduate in enology from the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro with postgraduate management training from Nova School of Business and Economics, he previously worked across viticulture, production, and commercial roles at his family's Quinta da Lagoalva. As Aveleda's head winemaker, he directs the team responsible for Quinta Vale D. Maria and the group's other estates.
