Dora Ramírez

Dora Ramírez is a Mexican chef, bilingual recipe developer, food photographer, and cookbook author known for Dora’s Table and a plant-based approach to Mexican cooking. She grew up in Ciudad Acuña, Mexico, and has said she began developing vegan Mexican recipes after a health problem and her mother’s type 2 diabetes diagnosis. In 2026, her cookbook Comida Casera won a James Beard Media Award in the Vegetable-Focused Cooking category.
