Douglas French is the founder and Master Distiller at Sierra Norte Whiskey, as well as the founder and Maestro Mezcalero at Scorpion Mezcal, both located in San Agustín de las Juntas. He launched Scorpion Mezcal after working as Quality Control Manager for Encantado Mezcal in Oaxaca. He expanded his distilling work by founding Sierra Norte Whiskey.
