Training at Fairfax High School, Grinnell College, and Columbia Business School gave Ed Levine a wide frame of reference that later showed up in his work across food, media, and entrepreneurship. Each stop added a different discipline to the mix, and that range is visible in the way he has moved between publishing, commentary, and building audience-driven food media. He went on to work as founder / creator at Serious Eats until 2016 and as a frequent contributor at *The New York Times*, bringing the same editorial energy to both roles. The through line is a point of view. Ed Levine has stayed interested in where appetite meets reporting and how food sits inside a larger culture of taste, habit, and conversation. Since 2015, he has hosted *Special Sauce with Ed Levine*, a format that gives him room to stay with an idea, test a premise, and let the discussion run where it needs to.
