Eleuterio García Martínez is a third-generation Maestro Mezcalero from San Dionisio Ocotepec, Oaxaca, associated with the artisanal mezcal brand Mezcal Güey. rodeo bull rider known as “El Solitario” or “The Loner,” and as the producer behind the brand’s traditional, micro-batch mezcal made with local wild maguey and copper-still distillation.
