i. Biography
En-Ming Hsu is a world-pastry chef known for leading the U.S. team to a gold medal at the Coupe du Monde de la Patisserie in Lyon in 2001 and for serving as Executive Pastry Chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago from 1994 to 2004. She trained in studio art at Skidmore College and pastry at the Culinary Institute of America, then built a career that also included work at Lespinasse in New York City and teaching at the French Pastry School in Chicago. In 2021, she co-founded Sip LLC with her sister Yih-Ming Hsu to produce Sip! Extraordinary Drinking Chocolate.
